Praying for International Cities

Today the Holy Spirit has imparted on my heart to be in prayer for International Cities. For cities in my own nation of Canada, but also throughout the world; on all seven continents. I believe that God has every city on His heart and mind, as He has created our world. Let us join together, in unity of spirit and lift up all cities of the world to our Father God. Let us bring together before the throne of Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith, the needs of all cities.

Below are prayer points and prophetic declarations that may be used as you pray for cities. You may feel led to pray these points in your personal prayer closet, or in a group setting, prayer meeting, prayer walk, prayer gathering on social media. Earlier this morning I prayed for cities on Periscope. (you can follow @EstherGenRiseUp) The Spirit of God was present and I believe that breakthroughs happened. As we continue to intercede for cities, I believe that God will manifest His Glory in our cities, on earth as it is in heaven. Let us pray for the following points:

  • That the Lord would release Glory and Fire in every city in our world
  • That all souls be drawn by the Holy Spirit to Jesus
  • For just and fair governments; municipal, state/provincial, federal
  • For fair and just resource allocation
  • For God’s grace and mercy to rest on all those in public service roles: judges, court workers, lawyers, healthcare workers, doctors, nurses, personal support workers, therapists, counsellors, educators, waste services, maintenance people, strategists, urban planners, recreation workers, economists and accountants, city financial officers
  • For all schools; primary, middle, high school ,universities, colleges, technical schools that there be morality taught in school and the name of Jesus be safely spoken
  • For the Fivefold Ministers in all cities; Apostles, Prophets, Pastors, Evangelists and Teachers to receive fresh anointing, increased oil on their Office, new manna, new wine and new revelations

Prophetic Scripture Declarations for International Cities:

We call our cities Righteous, we call forth that our cities are Faithful cities. Isaiah 1:26

We declare our cities delivered from the poverty spirit, from the spirit of lack, and we declare and decree that our cities are drawing wisdom from above. Ecclesiastes 9:15

We declare that rejoicing is the portion of our cities, for when it goes well with the righteous, the city rejoices. Proverbs 11:10-11

We declare and decree that our cities are mighty to take down enemy strongholds, we declare that the people of our cities are wise and they are breaking down strongholds. Proverbs 21:22

Thank you for joining in prayer for all cities. Please comment with your nearest large city name so that I can personally pray for your city. God bless you! Karyn, Esther Generation

    1. Hi Sally! 🙂
Father God, I lift up Wichita Kansas to you now. I pray that you would release the fire of God in Wichita. I pray that by your Holy Spirit you would draw all men and women and children to you and your son, Jesus. I pray for revival and souls won in Wichita. In Jesus name, Amen.

    1. Lord God, I thank you for Amanda. I pray now for her city of Amman, Jordan. I pray that revival would happen in Amman. That many would come to know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. Father God, I ask that your son Jesus would appear to many there, in dreams and visions. I pray that souls be won, the harvest is great but the laborers are few. Send people to minister in Amman. Raise them up Lord. I pray revival would happen in all of Jordan. In Jesus name, Amen. ~Karyn
